LeSean McCoy undergoes concussion protocol, cleared to return
LeSean McCoy left Sunday’s game to undergo the concussion protocol.
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was taken to the locker room during Sunday’s game against the Texans to undergo the concussion protocol, the team announced.
He was later cleared to return.
McCoy left the game in the second half after appearing to hit his head against the turf at the end of a run. Trainers looked at McCoy on the sideline before he was taken to the locker room.
McCoy entered Sunday’s game with 680 yards on 152 carries and three touchdowns. The running back has played in only nine games this season, previously missing time with a hamstring injury.
McCoy is in his first season with the Bills. He played in all 16 games in each of his last two years with the Philadelphia Eagles.
