Arizona Cardinals beat Minnesota Vikings to clinch spot in playoffs

The Cardinals recovered a fumble late in the game to secure the 23–20 victory.

The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night, improving their record to 11–2 and clinching a spot in the playoffs.

Arizona recovered a fumble late in the game to secure the 23–20 victory.

The Cardinals are now one step closer to being crowned the NFC West champions. It would be the first time Arizona earned that title since 2009.

With the loss, the Vikings record dropped to 8–5.

Next up, the Cardinals will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 20.
