The Broncos clinched a spot in the playoffs when Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron mishandled a snap in overtime. 

Denver took the lead with a field goal on the opening series of overtime and Cincinnati had a chance to answer, but McCarron fumbled the snap on the second play of the drive. The ball was recovered by DeMarcus Ware, giving Denver the win.

The game went to overtime after Broncos kicker Brandon McManusmissed a potential game-winning kick.

A Bengals win would have secured a first-round bye in the playoffs.
