Report: Andy Dalton’s cast removed, playoff status yet to be determined
The cast on Cincinatti Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton’s right hand has been removed, but his status for Sunday’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers remains undetermined, ESPN's Bob Holtzman reports.
“We have to go into the week, obviously, regardless of Andy's status, right now we're going to into at least the early part of the week preparing with AJ,” head coach Marvin Lewis told reporters.

Dalton suffered a right thumb injury against the Steelers on Dec. 17. Former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron has started in his absence and finished the season 2–1 in his three starts.
McCarron finished the regular season with 832 yards for six touchdowns and no interceptions.
