The Minnesota Vikings (11–5) host the Seattle Seahawks (10–6) in an NFC wild-card game on Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Vikings clinched the NFC North title for the first time since 2009 after defeating the Green Bay Packers 20–13 in Week 17. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed just 10 of 19 passes for 99 yards and had an interception against Green Bay, while running back Adrian Peterson left the game early with back spasms.

Seattle finished second behind the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West standings. The Seahawks won their last regular season game with a 36–6 victory over the Cardinals. Quarterback Russell Wilson had 19 completions in 28 attempts for 197 passing yards and three touchdowns in Week 17.

The Vikings and Seahawks met back in Week 13, when Seattle defeated Minnesota 38–7.
