Report: Dolphins schedule second interview with Bears OC Adam Gase
The Miami Dolphins have scheduled a second interview with Adam Gase for the team's head coaching vacancy, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Gase is the only candidate to be called back for a second interview by the Dolphins. The interview is scheduled for Saturday.
Gase has been linked to head coaching interest from multiple teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.
The Bears went 6–10 in Gase’s first season with the team. Gase followed head coach John Fox to Chicago from Denver, where he served under Fox as wide receivers coach, quarterbacks coach, and most recently, offensive coordinator. He has been lauded for his work with quarterbacks including Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning and the Bears’ Jay Cutler, and his willingness to adapt his team’s offense to its personnel.

He also served as an assistant coach with the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers nd Detroit Lions.
The Dolphins are coming off a year in which they finished 6–10 for last place in the AFC East division. Miami fired head coach Joe Philbin in October.
If hired by the Dolphins, Gase would be the eighth consecutive Dolphins coach with no prior NFL head-coaching experience.
