The Denver Broncos took a late 20–13 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday’s divisional round matchup thanks to a big turnover.
With under 10 minutes remaining in a 13–12 game, Steelers running back Fitzgerald Toussaint was hit by cornerback Bradley Roby on a second-down run, jarring the ball loose into the arms of defensive end DeMarcus Ware.
The Broncos took over at their own 35-yard line, and took the ball downfield on a 13-play, 65-yard drive capped off by a C.J. Anderson one-yard touchdown run.
That made the score 18–13, and the Broncos went for two to take a 20–13 lead.
The touchdown was Denver’s first in its last 23 possessions.
