Report: Dolphins want to re-sign running back Lamar Miller
The Miami Dolphins are seriously interested in re-signing running back Lamar Miller, reports Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
The organization “definitely” wants Miller on the team next season, a source told Beasley. The issue for the Dolphins will likely be money, though the team cleared cap space last week by releasing Quinton Coples and Brice McCain.
Miller ran for 872 yards and eight touchdowns on 194 attempts last year. Miller recorded at least 20 carries in only one game during the 2015 season.

A former fourth-round pick, Miller’s best season came in 2014, when he ran for 1,099 yards on 216 carries. Over his career, Miller has averaged 4.6 yards per carry and scored 19 touchdowns on the ground.
