Malcolm Jenkins signs five-year extension with Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a five-year contract extension with safety Malcolm Jenkins, the team announced.
Jenkins recorded 109 tackles, 10 passes defended and three forced fumbles in 2015. He also had two interceptions, including one that he returned for 99 yards in a win against the New England Patriots.
Jenkins previously told reporters that he would like to be in Philadelphia long term and was awaiting a contract extension.

Jenkins spent the first five seasons of his career with the New Orleans Saints before signing a three-year contract with Philadelphia in 2014.
The Eagles have also recently agreed to contract extensions with tight ends Zach Ertz and Brent Celek, tackle Lane Johnson and defensive end Vinny Curry.
