The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a five-year contract extension with safety Malcolm Jenkins, the team announced.

Jenkins recorded 109 tackles, 10 passes defended and three forced fumbles in 2015. He also had two interceptions, including one that he returned for 99 yards in a win against the New England Patriots.

Jenkins previously told reporters that he would like to be in Philadelphia long term and was awaiting a contract extension.
