Saints release WR Marques Colston

The New Orleans Saints released wide receiver Marques Colston on Monday after he failed a physical.
Colston, 32, has spent his entire 10-year NFL career in New Orleans. He has the most receptions (711), receiving yards (9,759) and receiving touchdowns (72) in Saints history.
Colston was the Saints’ No. 3 wideout option last season, as he was hampered by injuries all year and missed three games. He finished the 2015 campaign with a career-worst 520 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
A seventh round selection by the Saints out of Hofstra in the 2006 draft, Colston helped New Orleans to a victory in Super Bowl XLIV.
