Report: Indianapolis Colts will part ways with QB Matt Hasselbeck
The Indianapolis Colts will not re-sign veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, reports Mike Silver of NFL.com.
According to Silver, the decision is being made by the team and not Hasselbeck.
Hasselbeck, 40, is also not sure if he will try to play for another team or step away from the game.
Hasselbeck made eight starts for the Colts while starter Andrew Luck was dealing with injuries. He went 5–3 in those games, completing 60.9% of his passes with 1,690 yards, nine touchdown and five interceptions.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the team will move forward with Josh Freeman as its backup quarterback.
Freeman won his only start with the Colts last season.
He has a 25–36 record in 61 starts since being drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
