The Indianapolis Colts have informed wide receiver Andre Johnson that he will be released, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Johnson played one season in Indianapolis last year after spending the first 12 years of his career with the Houston Texans.
In 2015, Johnson caught 41 passes for 503 yards for four touchdowns in 16 games, 14 of which were starts. The only other year Johnson logged so few receiving yards was in 2011, when he posted 492 yards but played in only seven games.

Johnson, 34, had signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Colts in March.
