Report: Seven-time Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins retires
Seven-time Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins has retired.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers guard Logan Mankins has decided to retire after 11 seasons in the NFL, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
Mankins, 34, played nine years with the New England Patriots, where he made six Pro Bowl teams and played in two Super Bowls.
He was traded to Tampa Bay ahead of the 2014 season and has started 33 games in the last two seasons before making this year's Pro Bowl team.
Mankins played in 161 games over his 11-year career.

He retires with one year remaining on the six-year, $51 million contract he signed with the Patriots in 2011.
