Report: Released Ravens safety Will Hill facing suspension
The Baltimore Ravens have released safety Will Hill, the team announced on Twitter on Wednesday.
Hill is facing a 10-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan. The Ravens signed safety Eric Weddle to a four-year contract on Monday.
Hill, 26, joined the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He spent two seasons with the Giants before he was waived by the team. Hill signed with Baltimore in July 2014.
The safety signed a two-year contract extension worth $7 million in August.
