Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith has signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings, he announced on Twitter on Thursday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the deal is worth $3.5 million, and Smith can earn an additional $1 million in incentives.
Smith had visited Minnesota earlier this week, but left without a contract, according to a report by ESPN.
The 6'3", 340-pound tackle had played all seven years of his NFL career in Cincinnati after being selected by them in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft.
