Los Angeles Rams to be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks

The Los Angeles Rams will be featured on the 11th season of HBO’s Hard Knocks documentary series, reports Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times.
“It’s clear both in Southern California and nationwide there’s significant interest in the return of the Rams to Los Angeles, and it seemed like a very good year to give people a look at our franchise and our players,” Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Rams will play their first season in Los Angeles in 2016 after relocating from St. Louis this off-season.
Previous subjects of the series include the Texans, Bengals and Jets. The Rams will be the first NFC West team to be on the show.
The Rams, Saints, Bears, Bills, Chargers, Jaguars and Raiders were the only teams eligible to appear on the show this season, according to an NFL rule passed in 2013.

The first episode of the show will air on Aug. 9, with the finale scheduled for Sept. 6.
