Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman wants a $16 million deal, reportsThe Charlotte Observer’s Joseph Person.
The Panthers are currently working on a contract with Norman, who has not yet signed the franchise tag the team placed on him on March 1. Signing the tag would guarantee that Norman earns just under $14 million in 2016. A $16 million deal would make him the highest paid cornerback in the NFL.
The 28-year-old was a Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro selection in 2015 after posting 56 tackles, three forced fumbles and four interceptions during the regular season.
