The Washington Redskins are signing former Denver Broncos tight end Vernon Davis, the team announced Thursday.

The two sides’ agreement was originally reported by CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora. ESPN’s Adam Schefter later reported that the contract is for one year. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Davis, 32, was acquired by the Broncos from the 49ers in November, but had a down season in 2015–16. During the regular season, he had just 38 catches for 395 yards and no touchdowns.

In 2013, Davis was a second-team All-Pro selection while with the 49ers after recording 52 receptions for 850 yards and 13 touchdowns.

A 2006 first-round selection by San Francisco out of Maryland, Davis has 461 career receptions for 5,841 yards and 55 touchdowns in his 10-year NFL career.
