Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum has signed his first-round restricted-free-agent tender, reports NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
The tender is for one year and worth nearly $3.6 million. A team hoping to sign Keenum would have to sacrifice a first-round pick to acquire him, but the Rams would have the right to match any contract he signs.
Keenum appeared in six game for the Rams last season, completing 60.8% of his passes for 828 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. Keenum posted a career-high passer rating of 87.7.

The Rams acquired the first overall pick in the upcoming draft last week, and are expected to select a quarterback, which could number Keenum’s days as the team’s starter. Nick Foles and Sean Mannion are also on the Rams’ depth chart at quarterback.
Across three seasons with the Texans and Rams, Keenum has played in 16 games in his career, posting a 79.8 passer rating.
