Johnny Manziel has been indicted by a grand jury on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge, KRLD-AM in Dallas reports.
According to a police report, Colleen Crowley, the ex-girlfriend of Manziel, told authorities that the former Browns quarterback forced her into a car and hit her during an altercation in February. In an affidavit, Crowley claimed that Manziel threatened to kill her and himself.
Manziel was released by the Browns in March, and has been dropped by two agents in three months.
