Philadelphia is currently the leading candidate to host the 2017 NFL draft, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
NFL commissioner Roger Goddell said last week that the draft would likely move from Chicago, which will host the event for the second year in-a-row, starting Thursday. The draft had previously been held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Among the cities that have expressed interest in hosting the draft in the future are Denver, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Canton, Ohio.
According to Schefter, the NFL has narrowed the possible host cities to Philadelphia and Los Angeles for next year.
