The 2016 NFL draft began Thursday night with plenty of excitement in the first round. The second and third rounds will take place Friday night, as speculation persists over where remaining players will fall for the rest of the draft.
The draft concludes on Saturday with the fourth through seventh rounds.

• The Cleveland Browns, who currently have 11 total picks in the draft, are looking to acquire 4–6 more, reports NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
• The Dallas Cowboys tried to trade back into the first round for Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch, but were unable to do so, reports Rapoport.
• The Cowboys are attempting to trade up with the Browns at No. 32, and will likely target a pass-rusher, reports Rapoport.
