Browns cornerback Joe Haden, who underwent ankle surgery during the off-season, says he’ll be ready to play when Cleveland opens up its season against Philadelphia on Sept. 11.
“My whole thing is I’m not missing any games,” Haden said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Hayden has not yet practiced with the team, though he has shed his walking boot, according to coach Hue Jackson.
The 27-year-old missed 11 games last year after totaling 30 in the two seasons prior. He recorded 18 tackles and defended two passes.
