Free-agent running back Arian Foster has agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports.
Foster, 29, played just four games in 2015 due to injury. He missed the beginning of the season due to a groin tear sustained in training camp, then ruptured his Achillies tendon in a loss to the Dolphins in Week 7.
The eight-year veteran led the league with 351 carries in 2012, but has played just 25 of 48 games since then. He holds a career 4.5 yards per carry average.
Foster joins Damien Williams, Jay Ajayi, and Daniel Thomas in the Miami backfield.
