With Karlos Williams suspended four games, the Buffalo Bills have extended a contract offer to free agent running back Reggie Bush, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports.
In the past week, Williams was given a four-game ban for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, and rookie running back Jonathan Williams was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
Buffalo is targeting Bush to add depth behind starter LeSean McCoy. Bush, 31, played just five games for the 49ers in 2015 before a knee injury ended his season. He ran eight times for 28 yards, and caught four passes for 19 yards.
