When it comes to NFL pass rushers, J.J. Watt and Von Miller are a cut above everyone else. But Khalil Mack is ready to turn that duo into a trio. Early signs point to him playing with his hand in the dirt almost exclusively in 2016, meaning he’ll be in attack mode more frequently than he was in his first two seasons. With an expensive free-agent class joining a young, ascending team, the Raiders have their most talented roster since the one that lost to Tampa in Super Bowl XXXVII. Getting the new to jell with the old is not guaranteed for any team, but if Mack dominates the way he’s expected to, the Raiders might have that breakthrough season regardless of how well the locker room meshes.
