12 reasons Tom Brady's life is better than yours
Tom Brady's life is pretty great, especially now that his Deflategate suspension is over. Here's why his life is way better than yours.
This is what Brady gets to wake up to every morning. Every. Morning.
This feels obvious because with genes like theirs, the Brady kids were bound to come out cute.
You know the picture books with the mom, dad, three kids and the dog named Fluffy? That isn't just a storybook tale for Brady. That's his actual life.
What soggy meal prep salads? Brady will have the wild salmon with a side of roasted vegetables, please. Just leave out the tomatoes, all other nightshades, and strawberries. He has no desire to try that peasant fruit.
When was the last time someone asked you to play yourself in a movie? I thought so.
Brady could literally get a dorky bowl cut and people would still rave about how handsome he is.
Is there anything he can't do?
Brady was the 15th-highest paid athlete in 2016 according to Forbes, his total earnings coming in at $44 million after signing a two-year, $41 million contract extension with the Patriots this off-season that included a $28 million signing bonus. Tom and Gisele rank first on Forbes' list of richest celebrity couples with a combined annual income of $76 million, and Gisele is reportedly on track to becoming the world's first billionaire supermodel. With all that cash flowing in, I'd be smiling too.
In addition to all his off-field awesomeness, Brady is among the kings of his sport. He is a two-time MVP, four-time Super Bowl winner and 11-time Pro Bowl selection. He has the most career wins of any active quarterback (172 entering this season) and has the highest winning percentage of all time (77.1%). He also comes in at No. 5 all-time for career passing yards with 58,028 and No. 4 for passing touchdowns with 428.
Just google “Deflategate conspiracy theories” and you’ll see what I mean.
What better indication of being someone worthy of envy than being on the cover of a magazine? Brady has gazed down at grocery shoppers everywhere for years, his eyes saying, “Stop looking at the gum. Look at me and how perfect I am.” Brady was the cover boy for GQ’s men of the year issue last year and has claimed 19 SI covers, seventh most of any athlete behind the likes of Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, LeBron James and Tiger Woods. Not too shabby.
The original listing of the TB12 Nutrition Manual—which instructs you how to eat kale just like Brady does—sold out online in just one day. All 1,000 copies of Giselle’s limited-edition $700 coffee table book also sold out when it was made available last November.
