Chargers fumble away game-tying field goal, continue to falter in fourth quarter

The Chargers squandered yet another game in the fourth quarter on Sunday, fumbling away a shot at a game-tying field goal in the closing minutes of regulation against the Raiders.
Down 34–31 with 2:04 left, punter Drew Kaser was unable to handle a snap to give kicker Josh Lambo a shot at tying the game.
It came on the heels of a Week 4 defeat at the hands of the Saints that saw San Diego blow a 34–21 lead with 8:43 to go.

The Chargers also blew a 17-point fourth quarter lead to lose on the road in Kansas City in Week 1, and were leading the Colts by two with 6:38 left in regulation before losing in Week 3.
This has been a concerning trend for 1–4 San Diego, who sits last in the AFC West.
