Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi made history with an impressive performance on Sunday against the Bills.

With a 14-yard carry in the fourth quarter, Ajayi surpassed the 200-yard mark for the second consecutive game, becoming just the fourth player in NFL history to do so. The other runners to accomplish the feat are Ricky Williams, Earl Campbell and O.J. Simpson, who did it twice.

Ajayi left the game after the record setting run with cramping but returned a few minutes later.

He finished the game with 214 yards on 29 carries, 14 yards shy of Williams’ franchise record set in 2002.

Ajayi’s longest run of the day was 53 yards and he scored one touchdown.

He had 204 yards on 25 carries last week against the Steelers. His previous career high for yards in a game was 48.
