Earl Thomas tweets he’s thinking about retirement after being carted off with leg injury
Thomas left Sunday night’s game against the Panthers with a leg injury.
After he was carted off with a leg injury during Sunday night’s game against the Panthers, Seahawks safety Earl Thomas tweeted that he was thinking about retirement.
“This game has been so good to me no regrets,” Thomas wrote. ‘A lot is running through my mind including retirement thanks for all the prayers.”
Thomas, 27, collided with teammate Kam Chancellor as he went for an interception during the first half and immediately went down grabbing his left leg. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that he broke a bone in his leg.
Thomas missed the first game of his career last week due to a hamstring strain, snapping a streak of 118 straight games started.
