Ray Lewis and Jim Brown met with Donald Trump at Trump Tower
Brown said the meeting was about “helping people.”
Retired Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and legendary Browns running back Jim Brown met with President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower on Tuesday.
The two, along with Cleveland pastor Darrell Scott, were there to discuss efforts to help young people caught up in gang violence, Scott told reporters.
Brown recently told the Washington Post’s Wesley Lowery that he wanted to offer help to Trump in education and life skills in the African American community.
Brown said afterward that the meeting was about “helping people.”
Lewis and Trump were both in attendance for the annual Army–Navy game on Saturday in Baltimore.
