Marshawn Lynch Got Ejected, Watched the Game From the Stands and Took Public Transit Home
Marshawn Lynch got ejected and spent the rest of his night with the fans.
Marshawn Lynch is a man of the people.
Lynch wasn’t on the field for the Raiders’ thrilling comeback win over the Chiefs because he got ejected for shoving an official. Local sportscaster Henry Wofford reported that Lynch took off his uniform after he got booted and headed to his car. Not the case! He actually found an empty seat in the stands and watched the rest of the game from there.
He also did not go to his car after the final whistle—he squeezed onto a crowded train. (Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters, who Lynch considers to be like family, was there, too.)
Lynch said when he came out of retirement that he was coming back because he wanted to do something for the people of Oakland. He wasn’t lying.
