A pair of first place teams will battle near the nation's capital on Sunday as the Redskins host the Texans. Kickoff from FedExField in Landover, Md. is slated for 1:00 p.m. ET.

Washington currently sits atop the NFC East standings at 6–3, two games ahead of the Cowboys and Eagles. Adrian Peterson has led the charge offensively, ranking No. 5 in the NFL in rushing yards while averaging 4.3 yards per carry. The Redskins are seeking their first division title since 2015. 

Houston enters Sunday's matchup on a roll, winning six straight after starting the season 0–3. The Texans' defense has shut down opposing teams over the past five weeks, allowing just 15.2 points per game. Defensive end J.J. Watt ranks third in the NFL in sacks with nine.
