Report: Lions Trade Quandre Diggs to Seahawks for 2020 Fifth-Round Draft Pick
The Detroit Lions have traded safety Quandre Diggs and a 2021 seventh-round pick to the Seahawks, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday.
According to Pelissero, the Lions will receive the Seahawks' 2020 fifth-round draft pick in exchange.
Diggs was in his fifth season with the Lions after being drafted by the franchise in the sixth round of the 2015 draft. He started five games for the Lions this season, missing the team's Week 6 loss to the Packers with a hamstring injury.
Over his four-plus years in Detroit, Diggs recorded three interceptions and at least eight passes defended in each of his last two seasons.
Diggs will join Shaquill Griffin, Tre Flowers, Marquise Blair, Tedric Thompson and Bradley McDougald in the secondary in Seattle.
The Seahawks next play the Falcons on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
