Two young quarterbacks that have drawn plenty of discussion for different reasons this season will take to the field on Sunday as the Jets visit the Jaguars. Will Sam Darnold get back on track or will Gardner Minshew continue to run wild in the AFC?

The Jets are coming off a disastrous Monday Night Football appearance against the Patriots. They managed just 154 total yards in the 33–0 loss. Darnold, after delivering the Jets a win against the Cowboys in his return from mono, mustered just 86 yards and threw four interceptions. He struggled with the pressure the Patriots put at him. The Jaguars are another team with a fierce pass rush. With a short week to prepare, the Jets will have to figure out how to better protect its passer.

Jacksonville enters Sunday having won its most recent contest, a 27–17 win over the Bengals. Leonard Fournette rushed for 131 yards in that game, while Minshew threw for 255 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers. The Jags held Cincinnati to just 33 rushing yards on 20 attempts. Against Le'Veon Bell, the Jaguars will hope to put forth a similar performance in this matchup to bring them back to .500 on the season.
