President Biden Is Set to Do Fox Interview for Super Bowl, per Report

After some mixed signals, the President will indeed be interviewed by Fox prior to Super Bowl LVII.

President Joe Biden is set to be interviewed by Fox’s streaming service Fox Soul, which will be aired on Super Bowl Sunday.

A network spokesperson confirmed to the Associated Press on Friday that the President would indeed be interviewed before the game after the White House indicated that Fox had canceled.

“After the White House reached out to Fox Soul on Thursday evening, there was some initial confusion,” Fox said in a statement. “Fox Soul looks forward to interviewing the President for Super Bowl Sunday.”

While Fox confirmed that President Biden would be interviewed, it is not immediately clear who will be conducting the interview for Fox Soul, which was launched in 2020 and is geared toward Black viewers.

This will be Biden’s first interview with Fox since entering the Oval Office. The President was interviewed by CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell in 2021 and spoke with NBC News’s Lester Holt before last year’s Super Bowl.
