Eagles’ Nick Sirianni Sheds Tears During National Anthem Before Super Bowl (Video)

The Eagles coach was overcome with emotion and crying prior to the biggest game of his life.
In this story:

As Eagles coach Nick Sirianni was in the final moments before coaching in the biggest game of his life, he couldn’t help but being overcome with emotion during the national anthem ahead of Super Bowl LVII.

The Philadelphia coach led the Eagles to a 14–3 record in year two after a 9–8 season in 2021 and a loss in the NFC wild-card round. Sirianni’s work has quickly endeared him to the Eagles’ faithful as Philadelphia looks to capture its second Super Bowl, in addition to the team’s 2018 victory in Super Bowl LII.

The gravity of the game certainly caught up to Sirianni in the moments leading up to kickoff.

A victory over Kansas City on Sunday would complete a dream season for Philadelphia and would etch Sirianni in franchise lore forever.

In just his second season at the helm, he could become one of the franchise’s all-time great coaches and just the second coach to win a Super Bowl in Philadelphia.
