Eagles receiver Zach Pascal sustained minor injuries early Friday morning after he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in Prince George’s County, Md., according to multiple reports.

The armed robbery reportedly took place outside of Pascal’s home in Upper Marlboro, Md. around 2:25 a.m, per local ABC affiliate WJLA.

According to Philadelphia’s 6 ABC Action News, PG County police reported the 28-year-old was approached by two robbers, who pointed a gun at him before stealing his diamond necklace.

No suspects have been arrested, as of Saturday evening.

The Eagles released a statement in response to the news, and confirmed Pascal is doing “fine” in the aftermath of the incident. Pascal recently concluded his first season with Philadelphia after signing a one-year deal last March.

“The organization is aware of the matter involving Zach Pascal. We have been in contact with Zach and are happy to hear he is doing fine,” the organization said, via 6 ABC.

A former local star at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School, Pascal is fresh off his fifth NFL season since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Old Dominion in 2017. He logged 15 catches for 150 yards in 17 games this past regular season and recorded two catches for 11 yards in the Eagles’ 38–37 loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
