Free agent veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has interest from several teams, including from the Lions who have made him a “strong contract offer,” according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

If Bridgewater signs with the Lions, it would reunite him with coach Dan Campbell, who was an assistant in New Orleans when the veteran played for the Saints.

There is no indication that Bridgewater is close to signing in Detroit, as he takes time this offseason to decide where he will play next. He spent last season with the Dolphins backing up Tua Tagovailoa, where he went 49-for-79 passing for 683 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions on the season.

Detroit would be the sixth different team that Bridgewater has played for in his 10 year career. A former starting quarterback, he missed the entire 2016 season with the Vikings due to a gruesome knee injury suffered in training camp.

For his career, Bridgewater has completed 66.4% of his passes for 15,120 yards with 75 touchdowns and 47 interceptions.
