Odell Beckham Jr.’s Contract Details With Ravens Emerge, per Report
Odell Beckham Jr.’s free agency sweepstakes has finally reached its conclusion.
According to multiple reports, Beckham Jr. is in agreement with the Ravens on a one-year deal that is worth up to $18 million.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network provided further details on Beckham Jr.’s new contract, reporting that the 30-year-old would be due $1.165 million in base salary, alongside a $13.835 million signing bonus. An additional $3 million can be unlocked via incentives to potentially bring the value from $15 million to $18 million.
Beckham Jr. took to Instagram to announce his decision, sharing a photo of his son in a Lamar Jackson jersey on the social media platform.
OBJ’s decision to sign with the Ravens comes on the heels of reports claiming he was due to meet with the Jets this coming week. Instead, he’ll be headed to Baltimore after locking down the lucrative deal.
Beckham Jr. is looking to bounce back after missing the entire 2022 NFL season while recovering from a torn ACL he sustained during Super Bowl LVI with the Rams.
The veteran wideout was seeking a return to action late in the 2022 campaign, indicating he was hoping to latch on with a contender. He visited the Cowboys, Giants, and Bills in December, but ultimately remained unsigned through the playoffs.
In his 96-game career, during which he’s played for the Giants, Browns, and Rams, Beckham Jr. has 531 receptions, 7,367 yards, and 56 touchdowns.
