Jets running back Breece Hall only was able to play in seven games in his rookie season last year due to the torn ACL he suffered in October.

New York coach Robert Saleh recently spoke with ESPN about Hall’s rehabilitation on the injured knee, and his progress sounds promising.

“Breece looks fantastic,” Saleh said.

It’s likely Hall will miss the entirety of training camp while he continues his recovery. However, the Jets are aiming to have the running back ready for Week 1 of the regular season on Sept. 10.

It’s likely Hall could return to an entirely new offense in 2023. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers intends to play for the team, although a trade with the Packers has yet to be reached. The Jets also have signed former Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard and former Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman this offseason.

A second-round draft pick in 2022, Hall was off to a roaring start until the injury. The former Iowa State star recorded 463 yards and four touchdowns on 80 carries. Additionally, he caught 19 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown.
