After selecting Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the No. 12 pick in the first-round of the NFL draft on Thursday night, the Lions may be ready to move on from running back D’Andre Swift.

According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Lions are receiving trade calls on Swift, and the running back’s representatives are hoping that he can be moved to a new team. Fowler added that Swift appears “poised” to leave Detroit.

The potential for Swift to get traded comes as no surprise after the selection of Gibbs on Thursday night. Swift is entering his fourth year in the NFL, but has yet to serve as a primary back.

Swift split time with a number of running backs in his three seasons in Detroit, rushing for 1,680 yards and 18 touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per attempt. He also added 1,198 receiving yards and seven scores.

The former Georgia product still has plenty left in the tank, as he will be just 24 years old at the start of next season.
