One of the league’s biggest rivalries has developed between AFC stalwarts the Chiefs and the Bengals over the last few seasons.

Between wild regular-season matchups and pivotal playoff games, the two teams, led by respective star quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, have played plenty of meaningful games while shattering television ratings in the process.

The NFL must’ve had this in mind when it scheduled Cincinnati and Kansas City in a prime slot for next season’s regular-season meeting, as the two teams will square off at Arrowhead Stadium at 4:25 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve in Week 17.

The matchup is expected to have plenty of playoff-seeding implications as the two teams could be battling for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

The NFL will release its full schedule for all 32 teams on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
