Three weeks after the Vikings released star running back Dalvin Cook, the 27-year-old’s market seems to be heating up.

Cook has reportedly received “multiple offers” since being let go by Minnesota, per ProFootballTalk‘s Charean Williams, and one of those teams appears to be the Dolphins. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported Tuesday that there’s “mutual interest” between the two parties and that an official offer had been made, though the details of that offer remain unknown.

Other teams in the mix for Cook’s services include the JetsBroncos and Patriots, per Williams.

Cook had spent the first six years of his NFL career with the Vikings after Minnesota selected him with the 41st pick in the 2017 draft. He’s topped 1,100 rushing yards in each of the past four seasons, totaling 46 touchdowns during that span and making the Pro Bowl all four years.

Minnesota’s decision to release Cook was financially motivated, with the 27-year-old set to make $11 million in base salary in 2023 and count for $14.1 million against the team’s salary cap.
