Jets, Quinnen Williams Agree to Four-Year Contract, per Report
The Jets and All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams have agreed to a four-year deal worth a potential $96 million, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. Williams will get $66 million in guaranteed money.
Williams has developed into one of the best defensive players in the NFL, and now New York has secured the services of one of its stars for the foreseeable future. The Jets selected Williams with the No. 3 pick in the 2019 NFL draft out of Alabama, and he has been a force in the league ever since.
Over the past four seasons, he has tallied 27 1/2 sacks, 191 tackles, 60 quarterback hits and 33 tackles for loss. His best season came in 2022, when he racked up 12 sacks and 28 quarterback hits, earning first-team All-Pro honors.
The Jets appeared to confirm the news and had some fun on Twitter by simply posting a viral video of Williams sneezing during an interview and blessing himself. And yes, he thanked himself as well.
