The Super Bowl trophies may make people forget, but Patrick Mahomes is still in the early stages of his career. The Chiefs quarterback is entering just his seventh NFL season and he’s set to break two impressive marks if he stays on his current pace.

If Mahomes notches another 12-win season under center, he’ll have the most wins by a quarterback in their first seven NFL seasons. And if he throws for 29 touchdown passes, he’ll also have the record for the most in a player’s first seven seasons as well.

Russell Wilson has the current record for wins with 75, thanks to his days with the Legion of Boom, while Mahomes is sitting at 64 career wins. Meanwhile, the touchdown record is held by Dan Marino with an absurd 220 scores. Mahomes is entering the 2023 season with 192 touchdown passes.

Since becoming Kansas City’s starting quarterback in 2018, Mahomes has won at least 12 games every year except in 2019. The Chiefs finished 12–4, but Mahomes missed two games and started in 11 of those wins. That’s also the only season he threw for less than 29 touchdown passes since 2018 as well.

All in all, the 27-year-old is likely to break yet another all-time mark by this winter.
