Yes, Dalvin Cook just went there.

After appearing on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football earlier in the day, the four-time Pro Bowl running back went on the record stating that the odds are “pretty high” he will sign with Gang Green due to Aaron Rodgers being under center.

While appearing on CBS Sports on Friday, the veteran running back made the bold claim that should he sign with the Jets, New York would become a “superteam.”

“With the roster they have already put together and with the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers, so adding a guy like me, you know what I bring to the table, we could probably be a superteam when you put it together,” Cook said.

Before Jets fans get too excited about adding more explosive offensive weapons, it should be noted that Cook, who is from Miami, is also reportedly intrigued about the possibility of signing with his hometown Dolphins. However, Cook has added more fuel to the Jets speculation, continuously sharing tweets regarding his scheduled visit to Florham Park this weekend.

After scoring 52 total touchdowns in 73 career NFL games, Cook seems well-aware of Rodgers’s decision to take a significant pay cut, that freed up $35 million for New York. Time will tell if the veteran running back slots into that newly available space as the regular season continues to approach.
