All-time great competitors always find a way to give themselves some extra motivation. For Jalen Hurts, he found a way to remind himself of the most heartbreaking loss of his career every single day.

Eagles punter Ty Zentner posted a video to his Instagram story of the team’s rookie singing showcase and Hurts can be seen taking out his phone to take a video of the hilarious performance. In the video, Hurts’s lockscreen is revealed to be a picture of himself after losing Super Bowl LVII to the Chiefs in February.

Specifically, the picture is of him walking off the field after the 38–35 loss as red and yellow confetti falls on top of him. Hurts had a superb 2022 regular season and a tremendous game in the losing effort, throwing for 304 yards and scoring four touchdowns.

Hurts is clearly not over the loss and will look to make the entire NFL pay for it in 2023.
