Aaron Rodgers spent 18 years with the Packers, but was traded to the Jets during the offseason.

Many fans thought there might be bad blood between the quarterback and Green Bay, but Rodgers cleared the air when talking to Kay Adams on Up & Adams on Monday.

Rodgers described their relationship as “all love.” He said he has continued texting with various players, coaches and even staff members at Lambeau Field.

Then, Rodgers made quite the claim about where he stands regarding his time with the Packers.

“That chapter is closed… for now,” Rodgers said. “We’ll write the epilogue at some point. Lot of love and gratitude for that team.”

Rodgers hasn’t explicitly said how long he even plans to continue playing in the NFL, especially since he will be turning 40 in December. He’s hinted recently that he could stay with the Jets for longer than just the 2023 season. Based on this quote, he may have plans to return to the Packers in some capacity after his time in New York.
