During a joint practice with the 49ers on Friday, Raiders star wideout Davante Adams was forced to leave the field after suffering an apparent leg injury.

After the conclusion of practice, Raiders coach Josh McDaniels addressed the injury and doesn’t believe it is anything serious.

“There was a bunch of guys who weren’t out there [at the end of practice], it was in the double digits. I haven’t see anything, I don’t think it [Adams’s injury] was anything crazy serious. It was just kind of a bang-bang play,” said McDaniels.

Adams suffered a leg injury on one of the first plays of 11-on-11 drills after being hit by San Francisco cornerback Charvarius Ward.  After being checked out by team trainers, the star wide receiver walked back to the locker room noticeably favoring his right leg.

The 30-year-old talent was outstanding in his first season in Las Vegas, finishing as the 2022 NFL leader in touchdown receptions (14), hauling in 100 receptions for 1,516 yards.

The Raiders, who could be facing regular season games without star running back Josh Jacobs due to a contract dispute, can not afford to lose their only legitimate offensive playmaker for any period of time.
